Time for another Triyit box!
Triyit is a UK product discovery club that allows you to try new products, at home, for free!
All you need to do is go to www.triyit.co.uk and create a personal profile, where you can tell them about your likes and dislikes, personal habits, like exercising, or what type of food you like etc. Then, every now and again you will receive a free box with some goodies in it, that match some part of your profile.
After you qualify for a box, Triyit will even send you a text message and email to let you know that there are some goodies on the way to you. However, you won’t know what the box contains until you actually open it, which brings an element of excitement too.
The products contained in the box are usually full size. All of this is completely free and all they ask in return is that you share your reviews and pictures on social media in order to further qualify for more boxes. The more you share the more priority points you gain and the higher your chances to receive another box next time.
So, get some stuff for free and then talk about them. How much easier could it be? I highly recommend you sign up, you have nothing to lose and remember it’s completely free just click here!
If you want to see what was inside the previous Triyit boxes I received check out:
Let’s get to this box and have a look at the products in more detail. These are short reviews that cover first impressions and experiences from using the products. Bear in mind that these are my personal opinions, what worked for me might not work for you and vice versa, please leave your comments below!
Nudie Snacks Coconut Chips Salt & Sweet
I personally hate coconut but if it’s something you like then you will love this snack. It is crispy, flavourasome and somehow still feels fresh.
Although, nutrition-wise it is deceiveingly not that great to have constantly. One bag contains 35g which will give you 187.6kcals, 13.83g of fat of which 12.25g are saturated, 18g of carbohydrates of which 11.52g are sugars, 1.47g of protein, 2.66g of fibre and 0.42g of salt.
You can eat it on it’s own or scatter it over cereal, desserts etc. One bag retails for £1.29.
I usually hate sweeteners because they always have a really bad aftertaste which I can tell even if they are mixed in something like a cake. However, I was impressed with the Puresweet zero. It tastes less sweet than sugar but still sweet, almost like it’s balanced correctly, and it doesn’t have an aftertaste!
Because it is less sweet you need to use more of it if you want to subsitute the sugar sweetness entirely but it’s 0.24 calories!
It is non GMO, tooth and stomache friendly, great for diabetics, aspartame free, zero on glycemic index, Kosher and natural. I believe it contains Erythritol although it does not state what it is on the product (minus brownie points there), which is a natural sugar alcohol that will not make you drunk and has been around for years. It can have laxative effects though if you consume a lot of it.
A 1kg bag retails for £7.99.
Wizards Caramel Chocolate
This chocolate tastes like a normal good milk-caramel chocolate. There is nothing special or bad about it. It contains vitamin D3 and K2 which are a complete gimmick to make you feel that eating chocolate is good. Everything is good in moderation and you don’t need a chocolate to give you vitamins!
One 55g bar retails for £2.25.
Champions Cider Strawberry & Rhubarb
This is not like your typical cider, it is actually less sweet but still not bitter. Much easier to drink and more refreshing. I wouldn’t have guessed that the flavour was strawberry it was a lot more rhubarb or something else, which I persoally didn’t like but that’s personal taste.
This drink is also low in alcohol with just 0.5% and only 50kcals! One 500mL bottle retails for £1.30.
Starbucks Doubleshot Intenso Dark
This cold on the go coffee can be a lifesaver for many not only in the morning but at any time where a quick cafeine fix is needed!
It contains a little milk but it is still mostly dark. It tastes sweet but still has the typical bitter coffee aftertaste. I personally prefer my coffee a little more milky but it was still a nice cold drink.
One 200mL bottle retails for £2 and contains 68kcal, 1.2g of fat of which 0.8g are saturated, 11.6g of carbohydrates of which 10.4g are sugars, 2.6g of protein and 0.06g of salt.
Boodega Bay Apple Ginger & Acai Berry
This is an alcoholic (4%) sparkling water drink. It has a sweet apple taste and is very pleasant to drink on a warm day. The alcohol presence is not obvious, it is very easy to drink.
One 250mL can retails for £2 and contains 73kcals. It is vegan and gluten free.
I always enjoy the Triyit boxes. This one contained a range of different products to try and all were interesting and enjoyable. My favourite was the Puresweet Zero.
